Send Templates for signing
In the Create Shortcut Button window, enter a name for your button and assign the SendToSign function to it. This allows you to send your templates out for e-signing in one click, directly from your record page. You can also track the signing status of your templates directly in the record.
To see the status changes for your template in the current object record, check the Use Status Changes box.
To track your template’s status in the current object record, choose the current object field from the dropdown list and specify the field value for each action (Accepted, Declined and Sent in the example).
Add the available object layout (or several) by selecting object layouts and clicking Add Layout.
Note that your PDF template’s initial objects are the same objects you added during the template creation stage. If you’d like to remove a selected layout, select it and click Delete Selection.
When finished, click Generate.
The Shortcut button will now be added to your record page. To start using it, click your custom button on the object page (SendToSign in the example).

To send a template out for signing, on your object page click your custom SendToSign button (SendToSign in the example).
Enter the recipients from your contact list by clicking Contact. Add as many recipients as you need by checking the boxes and clicking Add.
Alternatively, you can enter recipient emails and names manually and then click Add.
Add as many recipients as you need, then click Send.
Your SendToSign document will be automatically sent to the recipients you’ve added.
Note that a recipient must be logged in to their PDFfiller account (using the same email that your signature request was sent to). Otherwise the document will open in Read Only mode.
After your template has been opened, recipients can add their signature followed by clicking the Done button.
Recipients can also decline to sign by clicking Decline in the upper right corner.
Once a document has been successfully sent out for signing, you will see the Sent status in your current object record.
